A Glam Wedding for the Glitz Lovers

Updated: Jul 15, 2020

Cindy came to me early on in her planning process with a clean, elegant, and sparkly vision for her wedding day. She was a bridesmaid in a previous wedding I had done and had recently gotten engaged to her fiance Jake. Jake and Cindy had been together for a while and were so excited for this next chapter in their relationship. With visions of a springtime wedding, they chose to be married on March 7th at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix, Arizona.

Cindy was an incredibly organized and proactive bride (which every planner LOVES) and she had a great eye for detail! We worked with a color palette of bright white, greens, and neutral tones which complemented the season well. We enjoyed meeting for coffee dates, walking around the grounds of the venue, laying out tablescape ideas, and of course having long text convos over which candle votive would look exactly perfect with the centerpieces. And as March 7th approached, Cindy felt confident that her vision was going to come to life.

When the wedding day arrived, Cindy and her girls arrived at Chateau Luxe early in the morning to begin the beautification process while the guys enjoyed a leisurely arrival and a few rounds of pool. All the while, I flitted about the venue placing tall pillar floral arrangements at the ceremony site, positioning tiny favor boxes below butter knives, and making sure acrylic signs were placed with perfection. Down the hall, I could hear the gasps of excitement as Cindy adorned her wedding gown for a first look her with her father.

There was not a dry eye in the house as Cindy shared a moment with her dad, and then went outside to share a similar moment with her husband-to-be. Shortly after, everything was set for Cindy's walk down the aisle. Arriving guests were blown away by the elegance of Chateau Luxe and its sparkling decor. They took their seats outside on the large white patio and admired the mountain backdrop behind the altar.

The wedding party looked glamorous and joyous as they processed down the aisle, ending with a stunning entrance by the bride and her father. Jake shed a few tears as he laid his eyes upon the woman he was about to marry. A light breeze kept guests cool in the March Arizona sunshine as Cindy and Jake sealed their vows with a kiss.

While the wedding party enjoyed photos, the guests enjoyed cocktails in the lounge, covered in multi-level tables and large red couches, creating a very romantic atmosphere. Once guests had their fill of drinks (temporarily), they entered the ballroom with their mouths agape. The mix of high and low white floral centerpieces gave a clean modern look to the space while the lighting added drama. Guests were greeted by tiny acrylic favor boxes containing Jordan almonds, as is customary in Cindy's Egyptian culture. Shortly after, the wedding party danced their way in and brought the energy up before everyone enjoyed a plated dinner.

As the evening proceeded, much dancing and fun was to be had. The newlyweds were surprised with a song written and performed by their flower girl. Guests struck a pose at the photo booth. Everyone danced until they couldn't dance anymore. And as the DJ tried to end the music for the night, the crowd excitedly chanted for an encore!

Cindy and Jake began their life together surrounded by love, joy, fun, and a whole lot of sparkle. I wish nothing less than ALL of that for the many years they have ahead of them.
